Deming's PDCA model is the basis of the ISO 9001 model. The focus is on improving the business processes used in the organization. The PDCA is also used in TQM, TPS, and Lean. But is more than just four letters and idea. PDCA is a model that, when promulgated by senior management, can move the organization forward in achieving goals, reducing costs, improving customer satisfaction, and decreasing time to market.
